Terms and Conditions

By visiting our site and/ or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Service”, “Terms”), including those additional terms and conditions and policies referenced herein and/or available by hyperlink. These Terms of Service apply to all users of the site, including without limitation users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and/ or contributors of content. The terms and conditions below, form your contract with Sound Revel Limited and an agreement to these are made by every customer by making a payment either by purchasing through our website or any other online ticket outlet, or by making payment after being sent an invoice.

Sound Revel (The Promoter) is an events managements company hosting events in both the UK and Sardinia Italy. Sound Revel is not exclusively a travel agent or tour operator. Accommodation bookings relating to Sound Suite Festival are subject to the terms and conditions stated below.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.

 

Contacting our team:

  • All enquiries after booking should be in writing by email to ensure the administration team can respond within target timescales and provide a seamless service. 
  • Team members, representatives, volunteers, performers should not be contacted through personal channels in any respect of any business or enquiry relating to Sound Revel/Sound Suite/Lyric City. 
  • All Correspondence regarding bookings should be directed to hello@soundsuite.co.uk and specifically relating to finance must be made in writing to Finance Administrators at finance@soundsuite.co.uk
  • Complaints must be made in writing, within 14 days of the last day of the event 15 JUNE 2024.

Tickets/Wristbands/accommodation:

  • Tickets/Wristbands and Accommodation for our events are only to be purchased through Sound Revel and Ticket Tailor and are non-transferable. 
  • Holders of wristbands purchased at any other outlet will be refused entry to the event, and there will be no liability attached to the promoter in any way. 
  • There are no minimum numbers of customers for this event to go ahead, this will not therefore be a consideration regarding cancellation of the event. 
  • Meals included are stated on the accommodation specific page of our website.
  • No visits, excursions or outings are included when purchasing accommodation, only entry to events are specified venues on the programme.
  • The programme of events will be sent to customers by 1 JUNE 2024.
  • Special requirements must be communicated when making the booking, Sound Revel will do our utmost to accommodate these and will communicate in writing whether these have been agreed and accepted.
  • Sound Revel Limited and Sound Suite Festival representatives will be on hand to help with any circumstances where the accommodation fails to meet reasonable expectations and ensure that all aspects included and mentioned on the specific accommodation page are delivered. 

Finance (Please also see our payment plan page)

  • When purchasing online or directly through ticket outlets and/or upon receiving an invoice Terms & Conditions are highlighted in writing and any payment denotes acceptance of these. 
  • All payments due, after the initial online payment, must be made by bank transfer only.
  • Discount Codes cannot be used in conjunction, only one code is valid per order with any purchase on any site selling our products. 
  • Travel insurance must be in place and valid on the day of travel and until the day after the departure date.
  • We reserve the right to charge an administrative fee if any administration communication requests are manifestly unfounded or excessive.
  • Flights and ground transfers must be purchased  directly through your chosen supplier and are therefore, part of a contract with an external agency. 
  • Flight delays are subject to contract with your chosen airline, no refund for missed aspects of the event will be payable.
  • Deposits are in any circumstances non-refundable and refunds of any further payments will only be made if the event is cancelled by the promoter.  In terms of customer circumstances beyond their control, when a customer cannot avoid cancellation there is an option to transfer the booking to another person. The transfer agreement, includes the terms and conditions herein, and purchase of the booking for full value through Sound Revel Limited by bank transfer upon receipt of invoice. Once full payment is received by the new customer, a refund will be processed to the original customer minus any admin fees, within 14 working days.
    Alternatively claims should be made through the customer’s personal travel insurance.

  • Bookings made for accommodation including wristband for two or more people and balances due are the responsibility of the lead person named on the invoice. 
  • Customers who have previously been sent a reminder for payment or defaulted on their plan will be required to make payment in full to secure all future bookings. 
  • Local tourist taxes must be paid in the resort by the customer directly to the accommodation owner and are not included in our accommodation and wristband booking. 
  • Please note any alterations or amendments (including name changes) to your booking will incur an administration fee of £30. You must ensure all names and details are entered correctly at the time of booking. You will receive an invoice once your booking is confirmed and must contact us straight away if there is something that you need to correct, or if you do not receive an invoice within 7 days of confirming your booking. Amendments to bookings after the deadline of 30 March 2024 will incur a £45.00 administration fee. 
  • Changes to accommodation allocation as part of accommodations including wristband bookings are not permitted by the customer. 
  • Any requirements regarding travel arrangements relating to infectious diseases including and not limited to: testing, self-isolation on return, government-imposed isolation on return and vaccination requirements will be the responsibility of and costs incurred to the customer and will not result in a refund being issued. 
  • Flight cancellations/delays – NO refunds will be due in relation to both wristband and accommodation bookings and wristband only.
  • In the instance that the promoter is unable to provide entertainment, missing days will be refunded in both instances in relation to event access charges – a proportion of the wristband purchase price at the time of booking.
  • If any circumstances arise for any reason, including flight changes, where accommodation is required for extra or less days outside of the original booking, the promoter has no responsibility to refund any nights not required and booking additional nights in other local accommodation may need to be be managed by the customer.
  • The duration relating to accommodation bookings are 7 Nights, for 2024 the dates are Saturday 8 JUNE until Friday 14 JUNE inclusive, amendment to these dates are subject to availability, admin and cancellation charges. The promoter is not obliged to do this under any circumstances.

  • Accommodation purchased through Sound Revel/Sound Suite is subject to availability based on the accommodation provider’s business at the time of booking. Alternative similar standard will be offered if the original accommodation becomes unavailable for any reason beyond the promoter’s control or in the instance where arrival or departure dates are changed by the customer for any reason.
  • Some accommodations may require a damage deposit of €200-€250 to be paid on arrival to the third party agency, which will be returned on inspection of the property prior to departure.
  • We do not store customer credit card details, nor do we share customer details with any 3rd parties. See privacy policy below. 
  • Monies paid for the accommodation aspect of bookings is secured by means of professional indemnity insurance and will protect the customer in the event of insolvency. 

 

Event specific terms 

  • All lines-ups, performers, artists, DJs, venues, parties, and any other aspect of the event are subject to change. No refund will be issued. 
  • The promoter reserves the right to refuse admission to the event and security checks will be made including bag checks and body searches. It is a condition of entry that all attendees submit to any reasonable search request. 
  • Illegal substances are strictly prohibited at the event. Any person/s found in possession of such substances will be denied entry and/or removed from the event. 
  • Unauthorised photography or audio/video recording of any performance at the event is strictly prohibited.If you are asked by a member of the team not to film, this must be adhered to.
  • Persons attending the event may be filmed, photographed, or recorded as part of the audience. This media is owned by Sound Revel/Sound Suite/Lyric City and may be used for any promotional material. By attending the event you give Sound Revel/Sound Suite/Lyric City permission to use this media and any media that is taken at the event by any individual.
  • Media owned by Sound Revel/Sound Suite/Lyric City is strictly prohibited for use in promotion or linked to any other event, brand or individual.
  • The Promoter cannot accept liability for any damages or loss sustained at the event, including loss or damage to accommodation or property howsoever caused. 
  • Wristbands/Accommodations/Tickets are sold on the understanding that the event is subject to license from the appropriate authorities by the third party premises and services offered. 
  • Force Majure – Sound Revel/Sound Suite/Lyric City shall accept no liability should any party be unable to carry out any provision of the booking for any reason beyond their control, including (without limiting to), any ‘Act of God,’ drought, war, terrorism, flood, legislation, disease, employee strike or other action that affects the running of the event, fire, power failure, premise access. 
  • Taking into account EU directives, urban waste management and the newly implemented street side sorting recycling collection, it is essential that ALL recycling procedures are followed at all accommodations, bars, and the beach in particular. Any fines incurred for non-recycling will be solely down to the customer for payment. Sound Revel/Sound Suite accepts no responsibility or liability for non-recycling.
  • Sound Revel/Sound Suite/Lyric City accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to personal belongings, individuals or third parties while attending the event. Please do ensure that you have your fully comprehensive travel insurance. 
  • It is a condition of your booking to have a fully comprehensive travel insurance package. Sound Revel/Sound Suite/Lyric City accepts no responsibility for any loss, injury or death however caused. All risk assessments regarding venues are carried out by the venues themselves and competent professionals on behalf of Sound Revel. Sound Revel/Sound Suite accepts no responsibility for flight delays, cancellations or any other issue resulting in non-attendance at the event. All circumstances must be claimed through your travel insurance policy. 

Conduct, behaviour, bullying & harassment 

Sound Revel/Sound Suite/Lyric City is dedicated to providing a harassment-free and inclusive event experience for everyone regardless of gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disabilities, neurodiversity, physical appearance, body size, ethnicity, nationality, race, age, religion, or other protected category. We do not tolerate harassment of event participants and team in any form. We take violations of our policy seriously and will respond appropriately.

  • It is a condition of your booking that you understand the following: Abusive and or threatening behaviour will not be tolerated in any way. Our security team have been advised to deliver a zero-tolerance policy to ensure safety and enjoyment for all our customers. 
  • Abusive or threatening language or behaviour, and harassment of any representative, volunteer or performer by any other individual at any stage of the booking is unacceptable. Your booking may be cancelled, or access to the event refused immediately. Any improper conduct, verbally or in writing through any form of communication, will be taken seriously and reported to the relevant authorities. No refund will be issued. Harassment is defined as on more than one occasion. 

  • Sound Revel/Sound Suite/Lyric City terms and conditions are final, all customers and circumstances are treated equally and within the bounds of these. Any enquiry relating to the terms and conditions will be met with a response within 72 hours, by email and stating the relevant information. Sound Revel/Sound Suite/Lyric City should not be expected to reiterate the same information on more than one occasion. 
  • Sound Revel/Sound Suite/Lyric City form agreements and contracts with DJs/performers/artists/agencies and services, these contracts are specific to those individuals that are external to our company. If they are unable to fulfil their contractual obligations for any reason, including personal choice/decision, or due to circumstances beyond their control ie. flight cancellation Sound Revel/Sound Suite/Lyric City will not be held liable.
    Any complaint should be raised with the individual or external company or agency whom represent the individual. 
  • Sound Revel/Sound Suite/Lyric City accepts no legal responsibility for the behaviour, conduct of external performers, DJ’s, venue staff or other attendees. A code of conduct is supplied to all external performers and DJ’s before the event date. Our staff will act immediately to remove any individual from the event if a situation arises where any person is considered to be at risk. Sound Revel/Sound Suite/Lyric City may advise on the relevant authority to direct your complaint to.
  • Harassment is not tolerated. Harassment includes, but is not limited to: verbal language that reinforces social structures of domination related to gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disabilities, neurodiversity, physical appearance, body size, ethnicity, nationality, race, age, religion, or other protected category; sexual imagery in public spaces; deliberate intimidation; stalking; following; harassing photography or recording; sustained disruption of talks or other events; written communication in all forms, offensive verbal language; inappropriate physical contact; and unwelcome sexual attention. 

  • This policy extends to talks, forums, workshops, social media, events, parties, conversations, all attendees, partners, sponsors, volunteers, event staff, etc. Sound Revel/Sound Suite/Lyric City reserves the right to refuse admittance to, or remove any person from, any hosted event (including future Sound Revel/Sound Suite/Lyric City events) at any time in its sole discretion. This includes, but is not limited to, attendees behaving in a disorderly manner or failing to comply with this policy, and the terms and conditions herein. If a participant engages in harassing or uncomfortable behavior, the event organizers may take any action they deem appropriate, including warning or expelling the offender from the event with no refund.
  • Our event staff can usually be identified by special badges/attire. Our zero tolerance policy means that we will look into and review every allegation of violation of our Event Community Guidelines, Anti-Harassment and respond appropriately. Please note, while we take all concerns raised seriously, we will use our discretion as to determining when and how to follow up on reported incidents, and may decline to take any further action and/or may direct the participant to other resources for resolution.
  • Event staff will be happy to help participants contact hotel/venue security or local law enforcement, provide escorts, or otherwise assist those experiencing discomfort or harassment to feel safe for the duration of the event. We value your attendance.

Merchandise – Terms and Conditions 

  • We aim to dispatch all orders (UK Only) within 48 hours of the order placement. 
  • When purchasing from the Sound revel website, you agree to the terms and conditions stated. 
  • Unfortunately, items are non-refundable unless your purchase is faulty. 
  • All faulty products must be returned within 7 days of purchase, where a replacement will be issued, or a refund will offered if not available. After 7 days your return will not be accepted.  
  • To be eligible for a replacement, your item must be unused, in the original packaging and in the same condition as it was received. Proof of purchase will be required to complete your exchange or refund.  

Privacy policy – Introduction

This policy sets out how we collect, process and hold your personal data if you visit our event ticket shop or otherwise provide personal data to us. We are Sound Revel Ltd of 7 Paynes Park Hitchin Herts. We are the data controller of your personal data.

Personal data we collect

We collect, process, store and use personal data when you book a ticket to an event including your name, address and email address together with payment information. We may also collect personal data that you give to us about other people if you register them to attend an event. You agree that you have notified any other person whose personal data that you provide to us of this privacy notice and, where necessary, obtained their consent so that we can lawfully process their personal data in accordance with this policy.

All personal data that you provide to us must be true, complete and accurate. If you provide us with inaccurate or false data, and we suspect or identify fraud, we will record this.

You do not need to provide us with any personal data to view our event ticket shop. However, we may still collect the information set under the Data we automatically collect section of this policy, and marketing communications in accordance with the Marketing Communications section of this policy.

When you contact us by email or post, we may keep a record of the correspondence and we may also record any telephone call we have with you.

Data we automatically collect

When you visit our event ticket shop, we, or third parties on our behalf, automatically collect and store information about your device and your activities. This information could include (a) your computer or other device’s unique ID number; (b) technical information about your device such as type of device, web browser or operating system; (c) your preferences and settings such as time zone and language; and (d) statistical data about your browsing actions and patterns. We collect this information using cookies in accordance with the Cookie section of this policy and we use the information we collect on an anonymous basis to improve our event ticket shop, our events and the services we provide, and for analytical and research purposes.

Marketing Communications

If you opt in to receive marketing communications from us you consent to the processing of your data to send you such communications, which may include newsletters, blog posts, surveys and information about new events. We retain a record of your consent.

You can choose to no longer receive marketing communications by contacting us at social@soundrevel.com or clicking unsubscribe from a marketing email. If you do unsubscribe to marketing communications, it may take up to 5 business days for your new preferences to take effect. We shall therefore retain your personal data in our records for marketing purposes until you notify us that you no longer wish to receive marketing emails from us.

Lawful processing of your personal data

We will use your personal data in order to comply with our contractual obligation to supply to you the tickets to an event that you have booked, including to contact you with any information relating to the event, to deliver the event to you in accordance with any requests you make and that we agree to, and to deal with any questions, comments or complaints you have in relation to the event.

We may also use your personal data for our legitimate interests, including dealing with any customer services you require, enforcing the terms of any other agreement between us, for regulatory and legal purposes (for example anti-money laundering), for audit purposes and to contact you about changes to this policy.

Who do we share your data with?

We may share your personal data with any service providers, sub-contractors and agents that we may appoint to perform functions on our behalf and in accordance with our instructions, including payment providers, event ticketing providers, email communication providers, IT service providers, accountants, auditors and lawyers.

Under certain circumstances we may have to disclose your personal data under applicable laws and/or regulations, for example, as part of anti-money laundering processes or protect a third party’s rights, property, or safety.

We may also share your personal data in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of assets, consolidation or restructuring, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business by or into another company.

Where we hold and process your personal data

Some or all of your personal data may be stored or transferred outside of the European Union (the EU) for any reason, including for example, if our email server is located in a country outside the EU or if any of our service providers or their servers are based outside of the EU. We shall only transfer your personal data to organisations that have provided adequate safeguards in respect of your personal data.

Cookies

A cookie is a small text file containing a unique identification number that is transferred (through your browser) from a website to the hard drive of your computer. The cookie identifies your browser but will not let a website know any personal data about you, such as your name and/or address. These files are then used by websites to identify when users revisit that website.

Our event ticket shop uses cookies so that we can recognise you when you return and personalise your settings and preferences. Most browsers are initially set up to accept cookies. You can change your browser settings either to notify you when you have received a cookie, or to refuse to accept cookies. Please note that our event ticket shop may not operate efficiently if you refuse to accept cookies.

We also use Google Analytics to monitor how the event ticket shop is used. Google Analytics collects information anonymously and generates reports detailing information such as the number of visits to the event ticket shop, where visitors generally came from, how long they stayed on the event ticket shop, and which pages they visited. Google Analytics places several persistent cookies on your computer’s hard drive. These do not collect any personal data. If you do not agree to this you can disable persistent cookies in your browser. This will prevent Google Analytics from logging your visits.

Security

We shall process your personal data in a manner that ensures appropriate security of the personal data, including protection against unauthorised or unlawful processing and against accidental loss, destruction or damage, using appropriate technical or organisational measures. All information you provide to us is stored on our secure servers. Any payment transactions are encrypted using SSL technology.

Where we have given, or you have chosen a password, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential.

However, you acknowledge that no system can be completely secure. Therefore, although we take these steps to secure your personal data, we do not promise that your personal data will always remain completely secure.

Your rights

You have the right to obtain from us a copy of the personal data that we hold for you, and to require us to correct errors in the personal data if it is inaccurate or incomplete. You also have the right at any time to require that we delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, or any other rights you may have under applicable laws, please contact us at social@soundrevel.com.

Please note, we reserve the right to charge an administrative fee if your request is manifestly unfounded or excessive.

If you have any complaints in relation to this policy or otherwise in relation to our processing of your personal data, you should contact the UK supervisory authority: the Information Commissioner, see www.ico.org.uk.

Our event site may contain links to other sites of interest. Once you have used these links to leave our event ticket shop, you should note that we do not have any control over that other site. Therefore, we cannot be responsible for the protection and privacy of any information which you provide whilst visiting such sites and such sites are not governed by this policy. You should exercise caution and look at the privacy policy applicable to the site in question.

Retention

If you register with us, we shall retain your personal data until you tell us not to. 

If you receive marketing communications from us, we shall retain your personal data until you opt out of receiving such communications.

If you have otherwise booked a ticket with us or contacted us with a question or comment, we shall retain your personal data for 6 months following such contact to respond to any further queries you might have.

General

If any provision of this policy is held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid or unenforceable, then such provision shall be construed, as nearly as possible, to reflect the intentions of the parties and all other provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

This policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales, and you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.

We may change the terms and conditions and privacy policy from time to time. You are responsible for regularly reviewing this policy so that you are aware of any changes to it. If you continue any communication, connection or other involvement with our event services after the time the changes have taken effect, you will have accepted the changes.
