KayJay

RnB Artist

KayJay is a musical force to be reckoned with and is now finally stepping into the well-deserved spotlight as a solo artist in her own right; dynamic and sultry she’s really come into her own with her debut solo single ‘Natural High’ taken from the self-penned debut Album ‘Intuition’ also due for release soon.

Her down to earth attitude is very appealing and seems to fill a void lacking in the current UK music scene, she is keeping it real, breathing some life and soul back into your playlists and is, indeed ‘taking it back to music’. This lady’s star is rising fast….

‘NaturalHigh’ is the stunning debut single from KayJay-

A head nodding expression of nostalgic, retro, summer vibes which really do take you back to an era when music was all about the feel-good factor.

A funky bassline with an old school groove punctuated by uplifting brass and topped off with smooth, silky and soulful vocals. Perfect.

KayJay may look and sound familiar. In fact, you’ve probably seen and heard her a fair few times before without even realising it.

KayJay is currently featured lead vocalist with iconic 80’s Soul/Disco group Odyssey, working with original member Steven Collazo (son of original lead singer the late Lillian Lopez), Odyssey tours regularly headlining many theatres and festivals across the world.

KayJay is also the voice behind many a dance smash, such as Seamus Haji’s No.13 chart hit ‘Last Night A DJ Saved My Life’, ‘Feel The Music’ by K- Klass ,The Hoxton Whores’ Friday, Saturday Love’, ‘Pumpin’ It Up’ by House Addicts, ‘Shake It’ by Pinups, ‘When I Think Of You’ the Janet Jackson remake by Playhard, ‘Save Your Soul’ by Leonid Rudenko & Danny Kirsch, ‘Need You Tonight’ by SW14 and Vincent Stormfield’s remake of The Beloved’s ‘Sweet Harmony’. ‘Session Singer to the Stars’, KayJay started her career as a backing vocalist with all your favourite artists; Jamiroquai, Lemar, Stereophonics, Leee John’s Imagination, Alexander O’ Neal, Rose Royce, Lisa Stansfield, Shola Ama, Westlife, Roni Size, Estelle, Martha Reeves amongst many others….
